The Town Tax Collector is responsible for collecting Town and County real property taxes as required by New York State law. Tax bills are issued annually and mailed to property owners in January.

Town and County taxes are payable to the Town Tax Collector without penalty through January 31. Payments received after this date are subject to interest and penalties as established by New York State law.

After April 15, late notices are mailed to homeowner and a $2.00 second notice fee is assessed.

All unpaid Town and County taxes are returned to the County Treasurer after May 31st, and payments must then be made directly to the county.

Property owners are encouraged to review their tax bills carefully and contact the Town Tax Collector with any questions regarding billing, payment methods, or due dates
